Privacy policy

This policy explains how RelayForge, provided by Forge Labs Pro in Tanzania, collects and uses personal data from account users, tourism businesses, website visitors, and travelers whose information is submitted through the platform.

1. Data we collect

We collect only the data needed to provide, secure, support, and improve RelayForge:

  • Account data: name, email address, role, password hash, profile information, workspace membership, and login records.
  • Business data: company name, tour packages, destinations, blogs, media, pricing, forms, invoices, settings, subscription details, and team activity.
  • Traveler and lead data: customer names, email addresses, phone numbers, booking requests, form responses, review content, travel dates, and party size.
  • Usage and device data: IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, API requests, errors, logs, and approximate location derived from network data.
  • Support data: messages, screenshots, files, and other information you send when requesting help.
  • Payment data: payment status, invoice records, plan details, and transaction references. Full card or mobile money credentials are handled by payment providers where applicable.

2. How we use data

  • To create accounts, authenticate users, manage workspaces, and control access.
  • To host and publish tours, destinations, blogs, media, forms, bookings, reviews, invoices, and translations.
  • To process subscriptions, payments, invoices, service notices, and support requests.
  • To detect abuse, prevent fraud, protect the platform, troubleshoot errors, and improve reliability.
  • To comply with tax, accounting, consumer protection, cybercrime, data protection, and lawful authority requests under Tanzanian law and other applicable laws.

We do not sell personal data. We do not use customer workspace content to train third-party AI models.

3. Lawful basis for processing

Where data protection law requires a lawful basis, we process personal data because it is necessary to provide the service, perform a contract, comply with legal obligations, protect legitimate business and security interests, or because consent has been given for optional activities such as marketing or cookies.

Customers using RelayForge are responsible for having a lawful basis to collect traveler and lead data through their own websites, forms, bookings, and communications.

4. Sharing and service providers

We share data only when needed to run RelayForge, comply with the law, or protect the service. This may include:

5. Storage and retention

  • Account and workspace data is kept while the account is active.
  • Deleted or closed workspace data may be retained for a limited period for backup, recovery, audit, dispute, fraud prevention, or legal compliance.
  • Billing, tax, and accounting records may be retained for the period required by Tanzanian law.
  • Support records are kept as long as needed to resolve issues and maintain service history.
  • Backups are protected and rotated on operational schedules.

6. Security

  • We use access controls, authentication, encrypted connections, backups, monitoring, and least-privilege internal access.
  • Customers must protect their passwords, devices, API keys, team access, and connected website integrations.
  • No online service is completely secure. If you believe there is a security issue, email [email protected].

7. Your privacy rights

Subject to applicable law, including the Personal Data Protection Act of Tanzania, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent for your personal data.

To make a request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify your identity and may refuse or limit requests where permitted by law, including where records must be retained for legal, accounting, security, or dispute purposes.

8. Cookies and similar technologies

RelayForge may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for authentication, session security, preferences, analytics, and product performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling essential cookies may prevent the service from working properly.

9. Children

RelayForge is intended for businesses and professional users. We do not knowingly collect personal data directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact [email protected].

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the product, law, providers, or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page shows the current version. Material changes may be communicated by email, dashboard notice, or website notice.
